Sushi

A fascinating look at a sushi restaurant from the viewpoint of the sushi. This is, for some reason, extremely entertaining.

Do You Know Che Guevara?

It's fun to make fun of the cli-che revolution, but these guys are just a bunch of self-righteous bullies.

N

Deceptively simple, the plot of the game is, basically: you are a ninja, get the gold, avoid the robots, find the exit, repeat. Simple, yes, but the underlying strategy is astoundingly complex, satisfying, and, yes, terribly addictive. Took me an entire month to beat it... and then there's a level editor, and user-created levels. Welcome to your new life.

N is a cool platformer puzzle game that everyone needs to play to fully understand.

(N: Puzzle-Platformer with Physics and Style).

Toilet Prank Elephant Toothpaste w/ Dr. Bunhead

Interesting, but if you were to try this in real life, wouldn't your friends see the sodium iodine in the toilet, considering they look in before doing the unspeakable?

Cool Little Stove

Build your own mini stove out of a couple of soda cans. Alcohol, fire, blades. What could be better?

Zoom into Concrete

This video is simply awesome. It slowly zooms in on concrete until it reaches the atoms, while verbally explains what we're seeing. I wish there were others like it taken of different materials.

Water Painting

The Chinese and Japanese people have the eye for great art and the fact that they can make what they imagine is truly amazing. I know they go to school far more than most Americans do so how do they find the time to be so creative. Everything down to their bathroom signs are works of art.

Tomato Glowing

That's so cool! I thought it was going to be a photoshop tutorial, but this is awesome! I wonder about all those chemicals and he's touching the thing with his bare hands.

Spaghetti Cat

This is about a cat eating spaghetti on a talk show. Very random. It definitely seems like they accidentally switched to "Camera C" in the middle of the show.

Web 2.0 ... The Machine is Us/ing Us

This video is a great example of the power and the possibility of new media. It was created by Professor Michael Wesch, K-State University, for his cultural anthropology class. It also was viewed 1.8 million times on YouTube in six weeks, earning Wesch a Wired Magazine 2007 Rave Award. Wesch had been working for months on an academic paper to explain new Web tools, but as he struggled to define hypertext, tagging, mashups, and wikis, he had an epiphany: He was working in the wrong medium. He needed to use Web 2.0 to explain Web 2.0, mesmerizing us with the result.

Hugh Laurie - Hey Jude (Chipmunks style)

As a die hard Beatles fan I shouldn't even like this (it's sacrilegious!!!), but it's just so funny!

Ghost In A Jar

Awesome - Ghost In A Jar - video powered by Metacafe

Wicked trick to create your very own ghost captured for all to see. I know your kids would get a kick out of this experiment.

Discovery Channel: I Love the World

This is really one of the few commercials I can honestly say I like. Actually, love. Great job, Discovery Channel.

History Channel - Life After People

What would happen? Some of this is pretty much stating the obvious. Of course nature will quickly take over. Although it is somewhat sad seeing how much of us what cease to exist, the matter of it is trivial, since we wouldn't even be here to care. Oh, and there's probably quite a few things they missed.

Circuit bent mechanical furby sequencer - The Furby Gurdy!

Each furby has 4 controls: mute, crash, loop and reset. The handle turns 8 cams which operate corresponding microswitches to create interesting rhythmic patterns. Part of the 'setting up' section at the beginning has been fast forwarded. Please commission me to make lots more of these machines!

Christopher Hitchens debunks all religions in debate

The poor religious people can only plead to Hitchens and ask for everyone to get along and for him to please leave their mythical books alone from criticism. "We need to have inoculation against plague, not the spread of a more gentle version of it." - Christopher Hitchens.

The God Who Wasn't There - History of the Gospels

"The God Who Wasn't There" was a great movie. Highly recommended for any atheist, or any Christian who is either doubtful of his religion, or who thinks they know their own history. Cuts a little short, though. Maybe it was intended? I would have liked to see it through the end.

Build Me Up, Buttercup on ukulele

Very cute rendition of Build Me Up, Buttercup. I know it sounds lame, but trust me, it's very entertaining. Guaranteed to lift your spirits and stay in your head all day.

Omodaka

Omodaka, a creative project adopting a self-described "trial and error process of mutational fusion of music and motion graphics," has a new video for chiptune disco track "Kyoteizinc," which features the captivating computer-tweaked dance of Masako Yasumoto.

Paper can't win

David Sedaris on Letterman

David Sedaris is hilarious. I always laugh out loud when I hear him on NPR's This American Life. Sometimes, hysterically.

Conciousness Drives the Universe

This is interesting speculation, at best, but I have a confession. Back when I was pursuing spirituality, I came to the conclusion that if there is life after death, we would not exist in human form in a human environment. Instead, we would exist in an unimaginable way as part of a collective consciousness. That consciousness includes all things from black holes to a grain of sand. Science tells us that our brains alone separate us from other animals, yet we are of the same source. Einstein said that energy and matter were the same and eternal and modern science has proved him right. The planets of our solar system circle our star like the electrons of an atom circling their nucleus. Galaxies do the same. They're not only circles, but also cycles and everything in existence experiences that cycle eternally. This is also not the first time I've pondered humanity's subconscious role in our fate. Look at what we have created. Are our authors of the past prophets or have our hand coincidently created what we imagined? If this is true, most of us damn ourselves by being afraid or hopeful for an end. Did you know that the reason there are not more great people in the world is because most of us never harness our true potential? Not a lot of faith is spent on people.

An Alfred Hitchcock documentary on the Nazi Holocaust

This is a film that disappeared for many years due to its graphic nature,it is about the liberation of German concentration camps and everyone who values freedom should watch this!

Schweaty Balls

If you've never seen this skit from SNL, drop what you're doing (unless you're somewhere where laughing is unacceptable ~ or you don't enjoy crass humor, hehe) and take a peek at this. It's a classic!

Foot 2008

Rebel with a soccer ball. How cool is this video? How cool would it be to have more people like this in our uptight little world? Awesome!

Segway Accident

Segway Accident - video powered by Metacafe

And all this time, I thought Segways were crash proof.

The Most Amazing Accident On Road Produced By Rain

I have to admit, I don't quite understand what happened in this video - why the water shot up like that... but it would scare the shit out of me, that's for sure. "Dear Insurance Company, I never thought it would happen to me but one night while driving..."

Extreme Texting While Driving in India

When you outsource, you don't care how the message gets there as long as it gets there. I think this guy is even closer to his last day than those extreme base jumpers! Incredible!

Elevator Psychology

You can study the theory all you want, but there's nothing like seeing it in action! I remember a friend's psychology class used positive reinforcement to move the prof. around the room. They got him almost out the door before finally breaking down and telling him what they were doing.

Explain this to your boss

Totally saw that coming. As soon as he started to take down his pants I said outloud to myself "Idiot, your too fat to sit on that copier."

Kung Fu Killers

Counting down the top 10 deadliest Kung Fu fighting techniques. I must be in a mood today. Violence is the dish for the day.

Chemical Party

High school chemistry teachers everywhere: USE THIS VIDEO! Chemistry would've been a lot more interesting if I had seen this video first!
