A fascinating look at a sushi restaurant from the viewpoint of the sushi. This is, for some reason, extremely entertaining.

N
Deceptively simple, the plot of the game is, basically: you are a ninja, get the gold, avoid the robots, find the exit, repeat. Simple, yes, but the underlying strategy is astoundingly complex, satisfying, and, yes, terribly addictive. Took me an entire month to beat it... and then there's a level editor, and user-created levels. Welcome to your new life.
N is a cool platformer puzzle game that everyone needs to play to fully understand.

Toilet Prank Elephant Toothpaste w/ Dr. Bunhead
Interesting, but if you were to try this in real life, wouldn't your friends see the sodium iodine in the toilet, considering they look in before doing the unspeakable?

This video is simply awesome. It slowly zooms in on concrete until it reaches the atoms, while verbally explains what we're seeing. I wish there were others like it taken of different materials.

Water Painting
The Chinese and Japanese people have the eye for great art and the fact that they can make what they imagine is truly amazing. I know they go to school far more than most Americans do so how do they find the time to be so creative. Everything down to their bathroom signs are works of art.

Web 2.0 ... The Machine is Us/ing Us
This video is a great example of the power and the possibility of new media. It was created by Professor Michael Wesch, K-State University, for his cultural anthropology class. It also was viewed 1.8 million times on YouTube in six weeks, earning Wesch a Wired Magazine 2007 Rave Award. Wesch had been working for months on an academic paper to explain new Web tools, but as he struggled to define hypertext, tagging, mashups, and wikis, he had an epiphany: He was working in the wrong medium. He needed to use Web 2.0 to explain Web 2.0, mesmerizing us with the result.

History Channel - Life After People
What would happen? Some of this is pretty much stating the obvious. Of course nature will quickly take over. Although it is somewhat sad seeing how much of us what cease to exist, the matter of it is trivial, since we wouldn't even be here to care. Oh, and there's probably quite a few things they missed.

Circuit bent mechanical furby sequencer - The Furby Gurdy!
Each furby has 4 controls: mute, crash, loop and reset. The handle turns 8 cams which operate corresponding microswitches to create interesting rhythmic patterns. Part of the 'setting up' section at the beginning has been fast forwarded. Please commission me to make lots more of these machines!

Christopher Hitchens debunks all religions in debate
The poor religious people can only plead to Hitchens and ask for everyone to get along and for him to please leave their mythical books alone from criticism. "We need to have inoculation against plague, not the spread of a more gentle version of it." - Christopher Hitchens.

The God Who Wasn't There - History of the Gospels
"The God Who Wasn't There" was a great movie. Highly recommended for any atheist, or any Christian who is either doubtful of his religion, or who thinks they know their own history. Cuts a little short, though. Maybe it was intended? I would have liked to see it through the end.

Conciousness Drives the Universe
This is interesting speculation, at best, but I have a confession. Back when I was pursuing spirituality, I came to the conclusion that if there is life after death, we would not exist in human form in a human environment. Instead, we would exist in an unimaginable way as part of a collective consciousness. That consciousness includes all things from black holes to a grain of sand. Science tells us that our brains alone separate us from other animals, yet we are of the same source. Einstein said that energy and matter were the same and eternal and modern science has proved him right. The planets of our solar system circle our star like the electrons of an atom circling their nucleus. Galaxies do the same. They're not only circles, but also cycles and everything in existence experiences that cycle eternally. This is also not the first time I've pondered humanity's subconscious role in our fate. Look at what we have created. Are our authors of the past prophets or have our hand coincidently created what we imagined? If this is true, most of us damn ourselves by being afraid or hopeful for an end. Did you know that the reason there are not more great people in the world is because most of us never harness our true potential? Not a lot of faith is spent on people.
