Asking Anti-Abortion Demonstrators an Important Question

Anti-Abortion people don't know the difference between what's the law in their little book and what legal authority in the united states is. If suffering god's wrath is the only punishment they can think of, can't people suffer than also if abortion is legal still? Making things illegal because "god" says it's wrong. One of my great frustrations is when people form such a strong opinion about something without thinking it through. The fact that these people have been involved in the Pro-Life Movement without thinking about the consequences of making abortion illegal underscores their simplemindedness.

People disagree about how severely rapists should be punished. Does that mean we should make rape legal?

Whether or not something is wrong and how it should be punished are two totally different issues.

Making a person squirm .. well that will depend on whom you ask the question..

Any person that is against Abortion because of Biblical reasons, in not giving "a personal opinion" ... to argue that is to admit that you are atheist.

My response to the abortion question.. "well YOUR MOTHER should have had one so we wouldn't have to debate this"..

now who would be squirming?

Just because you ask one camera shy person a question and you get a hesitant rather generous answer doesn't mean she is the spokeswoman for the all anti-baby killers or you are necessarily a smart person....or even a clever one. Many illogical people try to legislate science. You just can't do it forever.
