Fake! The momentum the pigeon had when flying would have made it drop at an angle not strait down as it did in the video. Somebody dropped it from the tree above!
That's real. Most birds don't have that much mass, so the momentum of the bird wasn't significant enough to counteract the mass of the skewer loaded with meat and veggies with the force given to it to propel it in the air. It's the same thing when a semi-truck T-bones a small compact. If the compact is bound to the truck enough... goes with the momentum of the truck.
Sure the trajectory was altered... but not enough for a noticed difference.
